Seek is an AI Bible guide inside Adrenaline Bible. It is not a counselor, and it is not an emergency service. We built it to take a person’s safety seriously, to point them to real help quickly, and to stay out of the way of that help. This page explains how it works.
If You Are in Danger Right Now
Call 911 (or your local emergency number). In the United States you can call or text 988, the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, at any time to talk with someone right away.
What Seek Does
- It watches for words that suggest crisis. Before a message is answered, our system checks it against a list of phrases about self-harm and suicide. The list is maintained by our team and reviewed by Adrenaline Bible’s founder, and it is set to catch too much rather than too little.
- It shows a Moment of Support card. When a message matches, the app shows a card with three equal options: Call 911, Call or text 988, and Call Focus on the Family (the counseling line, 1-855-771-4357). The card scrolls fully into view, and the person can close it and keep chatting.
- It never turns the message away. Even if a person has reached Seek’s daily message limit, a message that triggers the card still gets an answer and the card, and it does not count against the limit. If the AI is unavailable for a moment, the card still appears.
- Its instructions guide the answer. Seek’s instructions tell it to take any thought of self-harm seriously and respond with compassion; to tell a person who may be in immediate danger to call 911; to share the 988 Lifeline and the Focus on the Family line; to point them to Jesus as their source of hope and to a parent, pastor, or trusted Christian today; to point people outside the US to local emergency services; and to keep the response short and clear, without lecturing or trying to counsel the person through the crisis itself.
- It reminds people it is not a person. Seek says it is an AI, and the app shows a “Time for a break” reminder after long use that says Seek is an AI-powered biblical guide, not a human.
What We Record, and What We Do Not
We keep a log that the card was shown: the time, the device type, the app version, and an anonymous code that cannot be traced to a person without a secret we hold. We never record what you wrote in that log.
Seek conversations themselves are stored encrypted and are visible only to the person who had them. See our Privacy Policy.
A Note for Parents
Seek may not be suitable for some minors. Adrenaline Bible is for people 13 and older, and teens 13 to 17 need a parent’s or guardian’s permission. See our Terms of Use.
